JPMorgan Chase (JPM.US) has reportedly reached a payment agreement with a fintech company.
According to a report by CNBC on Friday, JPMorgan (JPM.US) has reached a new agreement with major data-sharing intermediaries to ensure that the bank is compensated when third-party applications request customer account information. Bank spokesman Drew Pusateri stated that the updated contracts cover most fintech intermediaries, including Plaid, Yodlee, Morningstar, and Akoya. He noted that these arrangements aim to strengthen the open banking ecosystem while maintaining secure and reliable application access. According to reports, after weeks of negotiations between JPMorgan and the intermediaries, the bank agreed to lower its pricing.
