Express News | Bankr Developer: Pools.fun to Launch Official Protocol Token, with 30% of Fees Allocated for Buyback and Burn
On August 13, Bankr developer deployer posted on X stating that Pools.fun, the token issuance platform launched by Sushi, will release its official protocol token. Thirty percent of all protocol fees will be used for buybacks and burning. Additionally, an airdrop is planned, and a points system will be established, taking into account users' trading volumes as well as trading volumes generated from tokens deployed on the platform. Fee accumulation has already begun and will be utilized for buybacks once the token goes live. Previously, it was reported that Pools.fun was jointly launched by Bankr and Sushi to compete with Uniswap's pools.trade, a Robinhood-chain token issuance platform.

On August 1, decentralized trading protocol Sushi officially announced the launch of Sushi Launch, a “composable, RWA-native” token issuance layer for Robinhood Chain, designed to provide end-to-end support for the Robinhood Chain ecosystem—from asset issuance and liquidity creation to trading. According to the announcement, Sushi Launch enables users to create and deploy tokens paired with tokenized real-world assets (RWAs), including trading pairs with stock tokens. Additionally, every token issued through the platform will simultaneously launch with a liquidity pool powered by Sushi V3.
