According to data from the Turkish Statistical Institute, Turkey's annual inflation rate fell to 30.89% in December, down from 31.07% in November. Year-on-year, prices for food and non-alcoholic beverages increased by 28.31%, transportation costs rose by 28.44%, and housing expenses climbed by 49.45%. On a monthly basis, prices increased by 0.89%, slightly higher than the 0.87% rise recorded in November.
