The latest quarterly metal report from Sucden Financial in London noted that the current high yields of U.S. Treasury bonds and the strong U.S. dollar have formed significant pressure. Geopolitical risks and physical demand have only maintained the bottom range, lacking core macro catalysts for an upward breakout. The safe-haven attribute of gold has weakened, and silver's fundamentals are tighter, but both are constrained by insufficient capital inflows and the macro environment.
