Gelonghui December 12th | The A-share market opened lower but rose subsequently. As of the mid-session close, the Shanghai Composite Index fell by 0.04%, the Shenzhen Component Index increased by 0.57%, the ChiNext Index rose by 0.6%, and the Beijing Stock Exchange 50 Index gained 1.12%. The total market turnover reached RMB 1.26 trillion, representing an increase of RMB 91.2 billion compared to the previous day's trading volume. In terms of sector performance, the grid equipment and precious metals sectors were active, with commercial aerospace concept stocks remaining highly active. Stocks related to nuclear fusion, CPO, ultra-high voltage (UHV), superconductivity, charging piles, and lithography machines ranked among the top gainers. Meanwhile, the lithium battery electrolyte, cross-strait integration, and banking sectors underperformed. Regarding ETFs, the UHV and smart grid sectors surged rapidly, led by China AMC.

As of the midday close, the Shanghai Composite Index rose by 0.05%, the Shenzhen Component Index fell by 1.06%, the ChiNext Index dropped by 1.37%, and the Beijing Stock Exchange 50 Index increased by 0.07%. The half-day turnover of the Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Beijing markets amounted to RMB 1.3985 trillion, a decrease of RMB 180.7 billion compared with the previous day. More than 2,500 individual stocks in the entire market declined. Key themes such as Hainan Free Trade Port, coal, short dramas, concentrated solar power, and AI applications remained active, while sectors including lithium batteries, rare earth permanent magnets, semiconductors, robotics, and consumer electronics generally retreated. In terms of ETFs, the biotechnology sector performed notably well, led by funds like the Huitianfu Fund Nasdaq Biotechnology.

Gelonghui, August 29 | The A-shares concluded August with all three major indices rising collectively: the Shanghai Composite Index increased by 0.37%, with a cumulative rise of 7.97% for August; the Shenzhen Component Index rose by 0.99%, with a cumulative increase of 15.32% for August; the ChiNext Index rose by 2.23%, with a cumulative increase of 24.13% for August. The Science and Technology Innovation 50 Index rose by 28% in August. The total trading volume for the Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Beijing markets reached 28,302 billion yuan, a decrease of 1,707 billion yuan compared to the previous day. Nearly 2,000 stocks across the market saw an increase. In terms of sectors, lithium batteries, liquor, insurance, innovative pharmaceuticals, and military equipment sectors led the gains; while the semiconductor, intelligent AI, computing power leasing, and education sectors experienced declines.

The combined trading volume of the Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Beijing markets reached 1.8752 trillion yuan, an increase of 67 billion yuan compared to the previous day. Over 2,000 stocks in the market rose.
