Money market ETFs recorded the highest net inflow among all categories, totaling RMB 4.157 billion. Convertible bond index ETFs saw net inflows of RMB 964 million, commodity ETFs RMB 832 million, interest rate bond index ETFs RMB 568 million, and cross-border ETFs RMB 424 million. Credit bond index ETFs registered net inflows of RMB 320 million. On the outflow side, broad-based index ETFs experienced net outflows of RMB 1.384 billion, while industry and theme-specific ETFs saw net outflows of RMB 738 million.

Interest rate bond index ETFs saw net inflows of RMB 1.490 billion, credit bond index ETFs recorded net inflows of RMB 200 million, and strategic style ETFs posted net inflows of RMB 93 million. These four categories were the only segments with net inflows on the day, totaling approximately RMB 3.637 billion. Data showed that on August 21, broad-based index ETFs recorded a net outflow of RMB 9.537 billion, while cross-border ETFs saw a net outflow of RMB 1.015 billion. In contrast, money market ETFs, credit bond index ETFs, and commodity ETFs registered net inflows of RMB 2.109 billion, RMB 1.837 billion, and RMB 1.797 billion, respectively.
