By the close of trading, the Shanghai Composite Index gained 0.71%, returning to the 4,100-point level; the Shenzhen Component Index rose by 1.96%, and the ChiNext Index increased by 2.52%, while the Beijing Stock Exchange 50 Index climbed 0.48%. The total market turnover reached 2.6089 trillion yuan, an increase of 58.4 billion yuan compared to the previous day’s turnover, with nearly 4,000 individual stocks posting gains. Lithium battery and rare earth concept stocks led a wave of limit-up surges, with active performances in sectors such as energy metals, photovoltaics, AI applications, computing hardware, online gaming, humanoid robots, and cross-border e-commerce themes. More than 3,900 stocks in the market registered gains. Today, rare earths, energy metals, and the new energy industrial chain stood out.
