Gelonghui, February 10 | The Shanghai Composite Index closed 0.13% higher, marking its sixth consecutive daily gain; the ChiNext Index fell by 0.37%. The total trading volume of the Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Beijing markets reached 2.1247 trillion yuan, a decrease of 145.4 billion yuan compared to the previous day, with more than 3,100 stocks declining across the three markets. Leading sector gains were observed in cinema chains, short-form gaming, computing power leasing, education, pharmaceutical chemicals, coal mining and processing, and shipbuilding-related industries. In contrast, sectors such as baijiu (Chinese liquor), precious metals, lab-grown diamonds, photovoltaic equipment, airport shipping, batteries, and propylene oxide saw significant declines. Gelonghui, December 30 | The three major indices of the A-share market showed mixed performance in early trading. By midday, the Shanghai Composite Index was down 0.1%, the Shenzhen Component Index rose 0.23%, and the ChiNext Index fell 0.06%. The Beijing Stock Exchange 50 Index dropped 0.68%. The total trading volume of the Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Beijing markets reached 1.3039 trillion yuan in the morning session, a decrease of 103.9 billion yuan compared to the previous day. More than 2,700 stocks across the market declined. In terms of sector performance, AI application sectors such as gaming and film remained locally active, along with commercial aerospace concept stocks. Meanwhile, the Hainan Free Trade Zone, wind power equipment, insurance, photovoltaic equipment, and airport shipping sectors led the declines. Regarding ETFs, the mini-sized Jinying Zengyi Money Market ETF experienced unusual movements.

The concept stocks recently favored by Northbound funds dropped in the afternoon session. As of press time, Baoze Medical (02609) fell 19.16% to HKD 9.45; Brain Dynamics (06681) dropped 18.32% to HKD 8.56; and PharmAbcine-B (02617) declined 12.62% to HKD 182.80.

By the market close, the Shanghai Composite Index rose by 1.65%, the Shenzhen Component Index increased by 3.36%, and the ChiNext Index gained 5.15%, surpassing the 3000-point mark and reaching a new three-year high. The total trading volume in the Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Beijing markets amounted to 24.646 billion yuan, an increase of 4.606 billion yuan compared to the previous day. Over 4200 stocks in the entire market recorded gains. The computing power, semiconductor, and consumer electronics supply chains saw explosive growth, with brokerage firms, AI applications, and robotics sectors leading the gains. In terms of ETFs, the AI hardware sector experienced a significant surge, with the E Fund 5G ETF, Guotai Junan Communication ETF, and Huaxia Fund 5G Communication ETF hitting the daily limit.

The half-day trading volume for the Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Beijing markets was 1206.2 billion yuan, an increase of 132.7 billion yuan from the previous day. Over 2,200 All Market stocks rose. The semiconductor industry chain surged, with multiple segments such as Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor (IGBT) and advanced packaging experiencing significant gains.
