ETF Midday Review | A-Share Market Opens High but Closes Low, Real Estate Sector Retreats, Real Estate ETF Fund Drops 2.7%
Gelonghui, December 11th | As of the midday closing, the SSE Composite Index fell by 0.46%, the SZSE Component Index dropped by 0.18%, and the ChiNext Index rose by 0.3%, while the Beijing Stock Exchange 50 Index declined by 0.09%. The total market turnover reached RMB 1.16 trillion, an increase of RMB 19.5 billion compared to the previous trading day. In terms of sector performance, wind power equipment and commercial aerospace sectors were active, with strong gains seen in newly listed stocks, superconductivity, nuclear fusion, ultra-high voltage, wind power, and CRO concept stocks. Meanwhile, sectors such as cross-strait integration, first-day economy, duty-free stores, AI applications, and real estate adjusted downward. Regarding ETFs, the satellite internet sector continued to lead the gains, with the E Fund Satellite ETF, Fullgoal Satellite ETF, and others performing strongly.
Last week, the ETF market saw a net inflow of 21.6 billion yuan, with money-market ETFs leading in capital attraction, while equity ETFs recorded a net inflow exceeding 10 billion yuan.
The ETF market saw a net inflow of RMB 21.6 billion last week, including RMB 6.949 billion for money market ETFs, RMB 6.895 billion for equity ETFs, RMB 4.102 billion for QDII equity ETFs, RMB 1.06 billion for commodity ETFs, and RMB 2.642 billion for bond ETFs.

The total market turnover amounted to RMB 1.59 trillion, a decrease of RMB 125.4 billion compared to the previous day’s turnover, marking the lowest level since August 4th. This marks the third consecutive day of declining turnover. Over 4,100 stocks across the market closed higher. The semiconductor equipment sector led gains throughout the day, while the Fujian regional stock sector expanded its rise in the afternoon. The lithium battery industry chain rebounded across the board, and the commercial aerospace concept recovered in the afternoon. In contrast, banking and pharmaceutical stocks ended lower.
