Anthropic deepens its strategic partnership with Amazon, signing a cloud computing procurement agreement exceeding USD 100 billion.
Amazon announced an additional investment of $50 billion in Anthropic, with the total investment potentially reaching up to $250 billion if cooperation targets are met. As part of a reciprocal arrangement, Anthropic has committed to purchasing over $100 billion worth of computing power from AWS within the next decade. It will secure up to 5 GW of computing power on Amazon's Trainium chips, dedicated to the training and inference of the Claude model.
