Express News | The Swiss National Bank's U.S. equity holdings reached a record high, with its top three positions being NVIDIA, Apple, and Microsoft.

In the second quarter of this year, the Swiss National Bank's foreign exchange reserves held in the form of U.S. equities grew by more than 10% and reached a historical high. According to the so-called Form 13F filing submitted by the Swiss National Bank to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and released on Tuesday, as of June 30, the bank held stakes in over 2,300 U.S.-listed companies valued at $191.4 billion. Slightly more than one-quarter of the Swiss National Bank’s foreign exchange reserves are held in equities, part of which is invested in U.S.-listed stocks. Its top three holdings are NVIDIA, Apple, and Microsoft. The central bank also holds $716.6 million worth of shares in defense software company Palantir Technologies Inc.
