SoftBank Group: The data center in Ohio, USA, will be a $500 billion project.
SoftBank CEO Masayoshi Son stated that the company is developing a 500-billion-dollar project at a data center in Ohio, United States. The first phase of the project, which is expected to include approximately 800 megawatts of power capacity at a cost of 30 to 40 billion dollars, is scheduled for completion in early 2028. SoftBank noted that 21 companies have expressed interest in participating in the large-scale power generation and artificial intelligence infrastructure project in Ohio.
