Tesla has reportedly planned to launch its Cybercab, an autonomous taxi without a steering wheel or brake pedals, to the public in Austin as early as August. The rollout will proceed in two phases: first offering rides on public roads to employees, followed by integration into the public Robotaxi service a few days later. The company has equipped the vehicles with remote operators who can monitor and take control in emergencies. However, the regulatory approval status for the vehicle remains unclear.

Gelonghui, August 18 – According to Bloomberg, a review of 13F regulatory filings shows that in the first half of 2026, more than ten family offices held a combined stake in SpaceX worth at least $3.8 billion.
