Citi has raised its target price for Nongfu Spring (09633.HK) to HKD 59.2, expressing optimism about the growth of its tea beverage business.

Citi issued a research report updating its forecast model for Nongfu Spring (09633.HK) based on field research findings from the first quarter of this year. The bank continues to expect that the company’s tea beverage sales will outperform other categories this year, with projected annual growth rates of 9% for packaged water, 22% for tea beverages, 15% for functional drinks, and 15% for juice. Citi anticipates that an overall sales increase of 16% year-on-year will generate positive operating leverage, partially offsetting the negative impact of potential rises in PET resin costs. The bank forecasts a 13% year-on-year increase in net profit this year, slightly lower than revenue growth. The analysis extends to fiscal years 2026 and 2027.
