About Shenzhen Airport Company

The company was established in April 1989 with the approval of the Shenzhen Municipal People's Government. It is a wholly state‑owned limited liability company authorized by the Shenzhen municipal government to manage Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport. Situated at the heart of the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area's "Golden Inner Bay" and the Guangzhou–Shenzhen–Hong Kong Economic Belt, the airport's jurisdiction has been incorporated into the Qianhai Cooperation Zone. The company primarily operates aviation services and related non‑aviation businesses. Corporate honors include: securing first place in the 2018 Bao'an District Excellence in Performance Management Awards; hosting "Benchmarking and Standard‑Setting, Performance Improvement" workshops, which earned it the Best Practice Model Award (one of the Top Ten nationwide) at the 8th International Performance Improvement Forum, along with two additional Best Practice Awards; and receiving consecutive accolades such as the Guangdong Provincial Government Quality Award, the Shenzhen Mayor's Quality Award, and recognition as one of Shenzhen's "Top Ten State‑Owned Enterprises for Quality Improvement."
