Pearl River Shipping Enterprises (Holdings) Co., Ltd. ("Pearl River Shipping") is a Hong Kong–listed company controlled by Pearl River Shipping Enterprises (Group) Co., Ltd. ("Pearl River Group"), which in turn is part of Guangdong Provincial Shipping Group Co., Ltd. ("Guangdong Provincial Shipping Group"). Guangdong Provincial Shipping Group is one of the large state-owned enterprise groups under the Guangdong Provincial Government and also ranks among the province's seven leading logistics enterprises. Pearl River Group was officially established on October 18, 1962. Today, Pearl River Group operates shipping and logistics services between Hong Kong and the Pearl River Delta, high-speed water passenger transport, as well as passenger vessel trading and repair. It also engages in refined oil and duty–free goods trading and supply, highway infrastructure investment and management, real estate development, and maritime consulting, among other businesses. The "CKS" brand cultivated by Pearl River Shipping enjoys high recognition and influence in the cross–border high–speed passenger transport and port logistics markets across the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area. Pearl River Shipping manages the world's largest fleet of high–speed passenger vessels and an extensive water passenger transport network serving the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao region, with Hong Kong as its base and coverage extending to more than 10 cities in the Pearl River Delta and Macao, including Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Shunde, Zhongshan, Zhuhai, Dongguan, Jiangmen, and Macao. In addition, Pearl River Shipping is one of the largest inland port terminal operators and logistics service providers in the Pearl River Delta, with Hong Kong as its operational hub and a network spanning over 20 cities in the region, such as Zhaoqing, Qingyuan, Foshan, Guangzhou, and Jiangmen.
