Longyuan Electric Power Group Co., Ltd. was founded in 1993. At the time, it belonged to the Ministry of Energy. Later, through the Ministry of Electric Power, the State Electric Power Company, and China National Power Group Corporation, it now belongs to the National Energy Group. In 2009, it was successfully listed on the Hong Kong Main Board and is known as “China's First New Energy Stock”. It was officially listed on A-shares in 2022. It became the first domestic H-share NEV central enterprise to return to A-shares; the first five major power generation group NEV companies to enter the A-share capital market; the first order simultaneously implemented share exchange, absorption and mergers, asset sales, and asset purchase projects. Longyuan Electric Power is the first specialized company to develop wind power in China. It pioneered the fields of offshore, low wind speed, and high altitude wind power in China, pioneered the “going global” of wind power in China, and continuously led the development and technological progress of the industry. At present, Longyuan Electric Power has become a large-scale integrated power generation group focusing on the development and operation of new energy sources.
