Aoyou Dairy Co., Ltd. is an investment holding company mainly engaged in the production, marketing and distribution of infant formula products in China. The company is also engaged in dairy business in the Netherlands, including research and development, milk collection, processing, production, packaging, marketing and sales of dairy products. The company operates through two business units. The Australian excellent Department is engaged in the production and sales of its own brand infant formula milk products in Chinese mainland and Hong Kong, China. Aoyou Hipnock's department is engaged in the production and sale of dairy products to global customers in the Netherlands.
Aoyou Dairy Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Aoyou" or "the Company" and its subsidiary "Group"; stock code: 1717.HK) is an international high-end dairy and nutrition products company with a complete raw milk collection business chain, R & D, production and final marketing. The company's global sales and service network covers the people's Republic of China ("PRC"), North America, Europe, Russia, Australia, the Middle East and other regions. The company was founded in September 2003 in Changsha, Hunan Province, China, and was listed on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited in October 2009, becoming the first Chinese infant formula company listed in Hong Kong.
Australia adopts a long-term strategy to steadily expand its status as an international company. In 2011, it acquired Ausnutria Hyproca BV (formerly known as "Hyproca Dairy Group BV"), a dairy company with a history of more than 100 years in the Netherlands. In 2014, it launched investment and construction in Pluto and Hector factories, also in the Netherlands. In 2016, it acquired Nutrition Care, an Australian nutrition company, and co-invested with Westland, a New Zealand dairy company, to build a PNL plant. In 2017, it acquired Australia's ADP and Ozfarm. In October 2018, Australia introduced CITIC Agricultural Fund as the company's largest shareholder.
At present, Ausnutria has ten factories around the world, including two in China, five in the Netherlands, two in Australia and one in New Zealand. They offer a diverse portfolio of products covering infant formula, early childhood formula, adult formula, liquid milk and other nutritional products.
