The company was founded on October 8, 2006. It is a limited liability company approved by the State Council, restructured and exclusively initiated by CCCC Group (a central enterprise supervised by the State Council's State-owned Assets Administration Commission). On December 15, 2006, the initial public offering of H shares was listed on the main board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (stock code: 01800.HK). It is the first large-scale state-owned infrastructure enterprise in China to achieve an overall overseas capital market listing. On March 9, 2012, the company's initial public offering of A shares was listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange (stock code: 601800.SH), which became a qualitative leap forward in the company's development process. The company is a leading transportation infrastructure enterprise in China.
