Gelonghui, April 14th: Kingsoft Cloud (03896.HK) announced that Su Jiemin from Tricor Corporate Services Limited, an external enterprise service provider of the company, has resigned as (i) the company secretary; (ii) the authorized representative under Rule 3.05 of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange Listing Rules; and (iii) the representative in Hong Kong for receiving legal process documents and notices under Part 16 of the Companies Ordinance (Chapter 622 of the Laws of Hong Kong). Hong Kong Stock Market Morning Review: Hang Seng Index opened 1% higher, with tech stocks and semiconductor shares posting gains across the board, while oil and gas stocks declined.
Gelonghui, April 14th | Is there hope for a U.S.-Iran agreement again? The Nasdaq surged 1.23% overnight, and Asia-Pacific stock markets collectively rose. Hong Kong's three major indices opened higher, with the Hang Seng Index up 1.05%, the China Enterprises Index up 0.84%, and the Hang Seng Tech Index up 1.37%. All heavyweight technology stocks rose across the board, with Baidu gaining nearly 3%, Alibaba, Xiaomi, and Tencent rising over 1.5%. Overnight, U.S. software stocks performed strongly, driving up Hong Kong-listed software stocks as well. Kingsoft Software opened more than 7% higher, while Kingdee International and Kingsoft Cloud also rose. Semiconductor stocks, gold stocks, and airline stocks all saw gains. Meanwhile, oil stocks and oil equipment stocks fell, with Shandong Molong dropping over 6%.
