Baidu Group (09888.HK) has partnered its autonomous mobility service, Apollo Go, with PostBus—the public transport operator under Swiss Post—to launch an autonomous driving mobility service named “AmiGo.” The service has officially received a special permit from the Federal Roads Office (FEDRO), authorizing on-road autonomous vehicle testing in Switzerland. Starting June 1, 2026, the AmiGo fleet has been conducting public road tests across an approximately 80-square-kilometer area encompassing the cantons of St. Gallen, Appenzell Ausserrhoden, and Appenzell Innerrhoden in eastern Switzerland.
