Citing sources, Bloomberg reported that Shengshu Technology, an AI video platform backed by Alibaba-W (09988.HK), is considering listing in Hong Kong next year with plans to raise over USD 500 million. The company is currently working with CICC and CITIC Securities on its initial public offering (IPO). In April, Shengshu Technology announced it had raised RMB 2 billion in a funding round led by Alibaba, with early supporters including Qiming Venture Partners, Baidu-W (09888.HK), and a Beijing municipal government fund. Established in March 2023, Shengshu Technology is known for developing Vidu, China’s first fully self-developed AI video generation model.
