Gelonghui, July 10 — Tengyuan Cobalt (301219.SZ) announced that, in order to further secure a stable power supply for its subsidiary in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), reduce electricity costs, and enhance production continuity and cost controllability, the company’s wholly owned subsidiary, Tengyuan New Materials (Hong Kong) Investment Holding Co., Ltd. ("Hong Kong Tengyuan"), plans to collaborate with Jin Chengjian Co., Ltd. ("Jin Chengjian") to jointly invest in the development of the Lufula Hydropower Station project in the DRC. This investment will be implemented through an equity capital increase by the company’s wholly owned subsidiary into a holding platform company established by the partner.
