The company was founded on August 28, 1996, and is a holding enterprise of the Beijing State-owned Assets Administration Commission. It was listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange in 1998. It is the most comprehensive and large-scale commercial vehicle enterprise in China. It is China's first 10-million-class “dual autonomous” commercial vehicle company, and its products and services cover 130 countries and regions around the world. It is mainly engaged in the production and sale of complete vehicles.
