Goldman Sachs published a research report stating that Xiaomi Group (01810.HK) has filed with China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) its second new energy vehicle (NEV) series—'SkyNomad' (including models N70 and N90). These models are positioned as intelligent, configurable, and spacious extended-range electric SUVs (EREV SUVs), catering to diverse use cases beyond family and business needs, thereby complementing the previously launched SU7/YU7 series, which emphasized driving dynamics. The firm noted that this development marks the beginning of a catalyst-rich third quarter, offering potential narrative and financial upside for the stock.
