Tyson Foods, the largest poultry producer in the United States, announced on Thursday that it will launch a vaccination award in which its American workers will be eligible to participate in the lucky draw with only one dose of novel coronavirus vaccine. the winner will win 10, 000 US dollars. The lottery will be held once a week for the next five weeks. A spokesman for the company said workers from nearly 50 chicken processing plants in the United States were eligible to participate in the lucky draw. Tyson Foods announced on Aug. 3 that all employees must be vaccinated by November 1, but the requirements for unionized factory workers have yet to be negotiated with the union. Ford said on Thursday that it would cut production of North America's best-selling Fmur150 pickup truck and two models again next week because of continuing global chip shortages. The company said it would stop production at its assembly plant in Oakville, Canada, and Kansas City, Missouri, during the week of Aug. 30. The Oakville plant makes Ford Edge and Lincoln Nautilus models, and the Kansas City assembly plant makes Fmur150 pickup trucks, which stopped production this week. In addition, the company will cut three shifts to two shifts at the Dearborn truck factory in Michigan next week.
