In the global supply chain crisis, British consumers snapped up turkeys for fear of being out of stock at Christmas
British shoppers are hoarding frozen turkeys weeks in advance because of fears that a growing supply chain crisis will lead to shortages of the most popular food during the Christmas season. When will 10-year US Treasury yields pick up? Keep an eye on this US data
This article comes from the hawkish signal released by Financial Street 25th along with the Federal Reserve's June interest rate meeting. The market also expects the Fed's policy to be marginal tightened ahead of schedule. Corresponding 2-year US Treasury yields rose to 0.28%, up 12 bps from before the meeting, but 10-year US Treasury yields maintained their volatile trend since the second quarter. After the meeting, they also peaked below 1.4%, and are currently around 1.357% (the average for the second quarter is 1.6%). Given that the US economic data continues to improve, and the Fed's policy is getting closer to marginal tightening, why are 10-year US bond yields showing a volatile trend under these supporting factors?

BMW sold more than its rivals in the US in the second quarter because the company did a better job of dealing with the global chip shortage. According to data released by the company on Tuesday, sales in the US in the second quarter were 96,561 vehicles, nearly double the same period last year, and up 35% from the first quarter. This number is 14,171 more than that of Mercedes-Benz, which is in second place. BMW was also the top seller of luxury cars in the US in the first half of this year, with 7,348 more cars than Mercedes-Benz. According to US dealers, BMW is doing a better job of managing semiconductor reserves, which has helped the company keep up better than some of its luxury rivals
