Look Beyond Taiwan Semiconductor: Two AI Chip Equipment Stocks to Buy and Hold for the Long Term
These ancillary stocks are often overlooked by investors in favor of high-profile names. Many investors regard Taiwan Semiconductor (TSMC) as the most critical chip company; given that it manufactures chips designed by Nvidia, Broadcom, and other semiconductor giants, the industry would collapse without it. Unfortunately, most of Taiwan Semiconductor’s fabs are located in Taiwan, a geopolitical hotspot. While the likelihood of an invasion is low, investors must consider the possibility of such an event, as it could cause the company to lose the majority of its production capacity. In light of this, investors may wish to shift their focus to equipment manufacturers, where these two chip stocks could offer attractive returns.
