Glonghui May 7 | British Petroleum (BP.US) fell more than 3% to $37.85. BP announced first-quarter results. Total revenue was about US$48.88 billion, down 13% year on year, falling short of market expectations of US$56.87 billion. Adjusted earnings per ADS were US$0.97, lower than US$1.66 in the same period last year, and fell short of the market's expectations of US$1.03. By the end of the quarter, operating cash flow was slightly above $5 billion, the lowest level since the fourth quarter of 2020, and far below analysts' average expectations of $6.72 billion.
