GLONGHUI, January 22 | According to Reuters, Panasonic CEO Yuki Kusumi said the company's battery business must focus on improving productivity, and before establishing a third production site, we need to consider completely increasing productivity. This means Panasonic may suspend construction of a third battery plant in North America as demand for electric vehicles cools down. Panasonic Energy, the battery division of Panasonic, has previously stated that it plans to decide whether to build a factory before the end of March.
