The Zhitong Finance App learned that T-Mobile US (TMUS.US) said it will acquire the entire wireless business of USM.US (USM.US) at a price of about 4.4 billion US dollars, including the latter's wireless business customers and stores, as well as certain specific spectrum assets. Boosted by this news, as of press release, US wireless phone stocks rose more than 11% before the market on Tuesday. American Radiophone confirmed the deal and said it will keep its nearly 4,400 telecom towers, its equity law investments, and about 70% of its spectrum assets. According to reports, the deal included cash and debt of up to 2 billion US dollars.
