CBRE Group: Property prices may bottom out in the short term, with residential leasing demand expected to rise in the medium term.
According to the figures released by the Rating and Valuation Department, residential prices fell by 1.7% monthly, 12.5% annually, marking the fifth consecutive month of decline. Guo Weien, Executive Director of Valuation and Consulting at CBRE Group in Hong Kong, noted that in the past two weeks, there has been a situation of existing homeowners reducing their prices, while some developers have increased the selling prices of new projects. In addition, various policies introduced in the Policy Address are expected to help stabilize residential prices. It is believed that after experiencing a five-month decline, property prices may bottom out in the short term.
